Pink is the epitome of feminism. On a personal front, I love pink. Yes, I’m way over the age where I should still go gaga over pinky stuffs which is more of a young girly thing. But then I’m never known for my discretion.
When I first started my blog, I did consider pink to be the primary template color. I gave up the thought later because I realize it would be a hassle to ensure my blog and content pictures have to complement pink. I do like to incorporate pictures into my posts and going pink is not going to make my life easy. It’s hard enough to find nice pictures and an even harder task to find pictures that complement pink. Well, forget it.
Pink is one of the few colors that is hard to use on blog templates. I don’t know, probably because of its ultra feminine symbolism, guys will of course shy away from pink. I mean real guys, OK?
I’ve seen quite a few pink templates on personal blogs and I could kick myself for not bookmarking those sites. A few of them looks real good but like I say, it’s not for everyone. On the whole, I’ve seen more ugly pink templates than good ones.
But then I’ve not given up hope .. not yet. There must be a pink site somewhere out there in the vast blogosphere that is just waiting for my admiration.
