Chinese New Year

Valentine’s Day
I’ve not time to come up with new banners, I thought I might as well showcase some of my old banners from my Blogger blog. I used to change my Blogger banner every 3 months or so to coincide with some festivities. Well, not any more.

I just realized it’s never a good idea to change your brand name… or in this case, blog banner every few months. Aesthetic wise, it may be cool, but then as it progress, it is not such a good idea. Blog identity may stamp from the blog’s postings, but then undeniably, the brand name or banner plays an intricate part in ensuring the blog identity stays intact.

I had fun though with those banners. I will try to come up with new ones as time permits.

Aesthetic wise, I do find I have more love to blog when I actually like my own blog. Liking my blog starts with liking what I see. I’ve spent the whole night, even forgoing my paidposts to find a WP theme that I find appealing.

I did like a few of the themes but then realistically, some are just too hard to change and modify the design. It is important for me to find themes that are modification-friendly. It’s a bitch when WP designers use CSS background image instead of mere html ones.

After trying on at least 3 other theme design, I settled for this in the end. It’s a plus I don’t have to modify much. I just changed the banner.

Thank God Sex and the City is history. Past tense. Hallelujah.

If I have to put up with another one of Sarah Jessica Parker’s damn Manolo Blahnik heels, I’ll kill myself. Forgive my extreme prejudice. I’m not exactly one who’s blessed with long lanky legs. Wearing outrageously priced Blahnik heels will do my legs no justice. I’m not seeking leg attention… I want a diversion.

Seriously, how many Asian chicks are born with long lanky legs? What? A lot?

You must be kidding me.

Anyway I bet they are flat chested. The big man up there can’t be that unfair, right?

No offense to her doggies… Kimora is a bitch. It’s not a compliment.

I watched Life in the Fab Lane yesterday and I cannot stand her whine. That is the thing with women. We love to watch the bitches so we can bitch behind their back.

In my wannabe life as a profiler, I know what she’s up to. Make us mortals jealous. See, I’m so gorgeous and filthy rich. I am spoilt, catch me if you can. Blah.

Get a life. Talk to me when you take out your silicone implant and go without your next Botox injection. Bitch.

iphone_by_hallaserke.jpg

Just heard from CNN Apple is slashing the price of their new Iphone after just 2 months. Nope, I still won’t buy. Can I use the word ‘won’t'? Come to think of it, it’s more like can’t. Yep, can’t afford. Yeah, that’s more like it. Sounds just about right now.

I’m putting their poster on my commemorative first post here though. Strictly because it looks good on my site. People are kind to good lookers. Blog contents are always subjective. Visual ones are way easier to please.

Now, at least I can rest in peace knowing if critics don’t like this site, they sure as hell can’t call me ugly either.

I’m superficial. Shoot me.
